For the next couple of weeks I’ll probably be talking about saving money in the kitchen. I started thinking about this when I had to buy all the food for a Thanksgiving meal. Well, I started to buy the food but then my husband found out that he had to work on Thanksgiving. So, I decided just to cook a regular meal. I wound up saving us about $25.

When I told my husband about the savings we decided that from now on we’ll either do the big dinner for Christmas or for Thanksgiving, but not for both. What a relief!
