The most expensive trash bag isn’t necessarily the best. There are plenty of generic trash bags that work just as well as the name brands. I usually shop at Wal-Mart and purchase the Great Value brand of bags. They have the plastic drawstrings just like Glad trash bags. However, the Great Value trash bags are only a fraction of the cost of the Glad. Even with coupons, the GV trash bags still come out to fewer cents per bag.  I have also purchased store brand trash bags from Dollar General, with the same success.

So save money by buying generic bags.
